Successful 2016 PISA Gatherings and Training Sessions

Within PISA,

we like to get together for trainings and friendly gathering amongst those in Arizona and with our partners in Sonora. Click on the links below to see some of the good gatherings and trainings we have had in 2016!

On May 12 1016, a local PISA/Meeting was hosted by several law enforcement agencies from Sonora, Mexico. The agencies included the San Luis Municipal Police, Mexican Immigration, Central Intelligence of National Security (CISEN), among others.

As you know, PISA and other Yuma County area law enforcement agencies hosted an equivalent local PISA/Meeting on March 17, 2016 in Yuma County.

These southern Arizona-Sonora meetings have been coordinated and conducted by both law enforcement from the U.S. and Mexico in an effort to bring a focus on PISA and border liaison, including problem/crime issues which affect both sides along our border; such as Homicide, Child Molestation, Auto Theft, Fugitives from Justice, etc.

These meetings bring together leaders of law enforcement from the U.S. and Mexico at the Municipal, County, State, and Federal levels as a forum to discuss shared problems between both neighboring countries. Some other points included are law enforcement networking, mutual training, and in order to promote PISA future events.
